Your Guide to Living a Life "Without Regrets" Live Save Spend Repeat Book Review
Live Save Spend Repeat Book Review

Have you ever felt stuck financially? Have you ever felt like you were not on the life path you wanted? Do you feel like you are living your life with regrets because of career, money or life choices you made? Are you settling for less than the best your life could offer you? Are you ready to live life without regrets?

Honestly, the closer I get to the big 4-0 (yikes!), the more I have been asking myself those questions. As luck would have it I was given the chance to read Kim Anderson’s new book Live Save Spend Repeat: The Life You Want With The Money You Have at just the right time. This book is a guide that will teach how to merge your life and money goals so that you can live a life “without regrets”.

Live Save Spend Repeat

I have read numerous books on personal finance over the years. This would include books by Dave Ramsey, Suze Orman and many other well known finance experts.  I was interested in Kim’s thoughts on personal finance, but I figured she really wouldn’t have anything new to say. It did not take long for me to realize how wrong I was about that!

This book is about so much more than personal finance. Live Save Spend Repeat is an in-depth guide to setting goals that will allow you to live the life you want. Kim says towards the end of her book that “The whole book is about a journey toward life without regrets”. If you can’t afford a life coach, this book is the next best thing. Kim will be your coach giving you easy, actionable steps that lead you to the life you want to have.

A Realistic Approach

I really appreciated Kim’s easy to follow format. She first dives into finances helping you to understand your mindset about money. She then talks you through setting a realistic budget that you can actually follow. Next, she gets into setting goals for yourself. Kim actually calls them momentum milestones which I really like. You will create milestones for all areas of your life. She will challenge you to dream big and to chase those dreams. Kim also addresses the habits we have when it comes to spending money and how to change those. She ends with how to be more intentional in our lives and invest where it matters the most.

Kim’s writing style is fun, practical and engaging. She truly understands the challenges that women face when it comes to getting out of everyday survival mode. This is a woman that knows what it takes to realize your dreams and her book will get you there.

A Few Notes

If you are going to read this book make sure you set aside time to work through it. Now that I have read it cover to cover I will be sitting down to actually work my way through it. I suggest reading it a chapter at a time. This is not a plan that you can implement overnight. Kim has also created a 24 page printable companion workbook. The workbook offers you room to answer questions from the book, complete worksheets, and layout all your Momentum Milestones.

Kim is a Christian author and she does speak about God and quotes biblical passages.  If you are not religious I would encourage you to read this book anyway. There is so much great information in here that you would miss otherwise.

About the Author
